Abdelkader Almanfi Md Joins Thedacare Cardiovascular Care
Will Serve as Director of Structural Heart Program
APPLETON, Wis.— Abdelkader Almanfi, MD has joined ThedaCare Cardiovascular Care as the director of its structural heart program. Dr. Almanfi is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
As an interventional cardiologist Dr. Almanfi specializes in treating patients with coronary artery and peripheral vascular diseases, he is subspecialized in treating patients with valve heart disease using minimally invasive, non-surgical technologies to replace or repair valves without the need for open-heart surgery.
Dr. Almanfi earned his medical degree at AI-Arab Medical University in Libya. He completed his internship at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and his residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas.
Outside of work, Dr. Almanfi enjoys playing soccer, tennis and chess.
